Warning.....Venting....

I'm not sure why it irritates me so much when I go to peoples squidoo pages and they have a very nice lens that is very thought out, yet the bio says..."This is my Bio- I can update it later".

Maybe it is because it makes me feel like they are hiding and don't want me to know "Who they are" or maybe they are just scattered and really don't care.

I just know for me, blogging and yes Squidoo is a blog, is about connecting with the reader. As as reader, I want to know who the writer is.

I'm just curious, Does this irritate anyone else or is it just me?

Networking on Squidoo

The thing that makes Squidoo work is the "networking". You can build relationships with other lensmasters which create curiosity so people will visit your lens as well. In other words, when ever someone visits my lens I always recipricate by visiting at least one of their lenses. Sometimes when I get to their lens It isn't something that I totally agree with, but I will alway leave a comment even if it is just letting them know that I was their. Most lensmasters do the same thing.

So if you want traffic to your squidoo lens, you should right now, go visit at least 20 lenses that are similar to yours and add a comment and rate at the least. Then watch what happens. I bet you, at least 5 of those people if not more will do the same for you! Have fun!

Giant Squid

Well it's taken a year and now with over 70 lenses I have made Giant Squid!

I love Squidoo for so many reasons. Squidoo has connected me with amazing people and has been a way for me to help others. As many of you know, I am a network marketer and am very passionate about teaching others and helping them to be successful and avoid the pitfalls in network marketing. Through my Squidoo lenses I believe I have been able to help many people.

I have recently decided that now that I have become a Giant, it is time for me to pay it forward and help others with Squidoo. So I have created a new Squidoo Tips Newsletter. I will be sending out weekly Squidoo Tips.
